There is nothing more frustrating than when you try your best at school and nothing seems to work. It is no secret that school can be hard and it takes dedicated educators to guide students on their path to learning. Sometimes students need someone available to ask the questions they can't in class, someone to trust, and someone who will be a support system. I hope to be that person for students. I have been teaching high school physics and math in the classroom since 1994. I have also been teaching online since 2000, and I have had the opportunity to work with students from across the world. I am a National Board Certified teacher in the United States, but I know there is more to teaching than being certified. I understand the struggle or fear that students face when it comes to asking for help, and I do my best to provide a safe learning environment by getting to know the student and their learning style. I work hard to build a trusting relationship with students so that any boundaries between teacher and student can be removed. I am always willing to show a student how to answer a question when they are ready to ask them.
